What’s all this, then?

Thanksgiving and Christmas are coming up fast, and we’re a podcast about food, hosted by two trivia nerds who love feeding others.

So we’re going to get people fed, and we’re going to do it by answering several dozen trivia questions about food and cooking.

How does that work?

• Our triviathon (trivia + marathon—Noah loves a portmanteau, as we all know) will be streamed on Tuesday, November 25th, at 7:00 PM, Eastern Standard Time.
  • Note: We’re hijacking the Liga Nacional Puertorriqueña‘s channel, because it has more followers and Noah already knows how to stream from there.
  • When we say a triviathon, we mean it: the question bank we’re using has 66 questions on food and cooking, so we’re going to be at it for a while.
• We’re asking people to pledge funds to their local food bank for each answer we get right—so if you donate $1 to either of us, and we get all 66 right, your donation is $66.
• After the triviathon (ideally the very next day), we’ll email everyone to let them know the final figures. We’ll do all the math for you.
• Noah is matching the first $500 of donations; send a receipt (please strip out all private information) to nosubstitutionspls@gmail.com and he’ll take care of the rest.
